One of our photographs will be the “Journal Feature” (double spread) in the upcoming May issue of Outdoor Canada Magazine!
The image was taken while Sarah and I were on our honeymoon. We spent the better part of June in beautiful Quetico Provincial Park, Ontario, Canada. When breaking camp one fine morning along the Maligne River – we noticed a tremendous amount of activity. Here were hundreds, maybe thousands of dragonflies that were emerging. We photographed and fished there for hours. Many fish and many photos later we decided that eventually we did indeed, need to move along. Other beauties from that morning:
Thank you for your business, Outdoor Canada! It is very much appreciated.

Professional development seminar
I’m back. Thankfully, it was beautiful - nice weather for driving, which is not always the case at this time of the year. A big thank you goes out to Michael Moster, Kent Wong, Andrew Simpson and Philomena Hughes for organizing and sharing so much during this seminar – it is very much appreciated!

Spring is Springing
Here in the Okanagan Valley, spring is on the way. Red-winged blackbirds are already out staking their claims in the marsh near my home.
This afternoon, we (our friendly dogs and I) got out to staking some of our own claim. It was a beautiful sunny day here. Echo, Ati and I got outside and enjoyed some open air and dry ground.
